Gotta say, to me it sounds incredibly far fetched that this haki boost is enough for luffy to get to a point where he can even hold his ground against a yonko. I get that this would basically allow him to bypass an enemy's defense but even then this is something a yonko with the same ability should be able to counter. look at the current chapter... We saw queen in his brachiosaurus form head but big mom and... it just gave her a headache. It's unclear whether the headbutt made her collapse but I wouldn't bet on it considering she didn't even fall to the ground from it.

And then, we have seen how kaido dealt with luffy and big mom dealt with queen. Basically yonko can pretty much end top commander quality fighters in a single hit. And these are people who under normal circumstances would go up against admirals. Luffy could actually master this type of armament haki but he still won't be anywhere near a yonko. Yonko appear to be mostly indestructible at this point. At a minimum even with this skill I'd call BS on luffy going head to head with a yonko at 100%.

Looking at the current developments I'd say how kaido and big mom will be dealt with... Well, big mom's crew will most likely affiliate with luffy from now on. At which point luffy will finally have a force sufficiently powerful to trade blows with kaido's crew and the samurai affiliated with him. Then odds are that at some point kaido and big mom will duke it out at least for a bit. It's too big a development for oda to pass on. Add to that big mom literally being on her way to kaido... And finally, kaido will most likely be dealt with by a number of people after his forces have been decimated by the strawhat-samurai-big mom crew alliance. with any luck, the arc ends with the world lacking 2 yonko... And losing its collective shit over it.

Taking down a Yonkou who has lost his memories is good, but not an achievement for Queen. He is one of the 3 disasters of Kaido, and it is expected for him to survive a few hits from a Yonkou and also be able to hit a Yonkou. The way luffy is currently, Queen would beat him up.

Luffy barely managed to survive and beat katakuri, due to plot not jutsu. But then again big moms commanders look noobish in front of Kaido's disasters. Luffys only way to take down Kaido is to let Big Mom get loose. The old hag is stupid and will go about attacking everyone. She can take on Kaido and meanwhile the other gang bang Kaido's crew. Big Moms Crew + Luffy and allies.

So why would Big Moms crew ally with Luffy? Because Kaido has caught their leader, and he would obviously black mail them to handle straw hats. However, Katakuri might take a sensible option to temporarily side with Straw Hats to take down Kaido.

Unless Marine Admirals arrive to Wano, only Big Mom can handle Kaido. So technically keep Yonkous busy in their 1v1 fight and then finish the crew which has 3 monster level commanders, Queen, King and Jack.

If Luffy manages to master this advanced Haki and perfect his CoO, which he did during the Sumo "execution", then he could feasibly have a means to survive Kaido. He can easily dodge if he's not desperate and not thinking clearly, and what can't be dodged can be deflected. There's also the other Supernovas to assist him. No doubt Law and possibly Hawkins and Drake will be in on it. And Apoo has yet to make his appearance yet. Could well be Apoo will want to take him out. He messed with Kizaru for the sake of it, no reason not to make another go at Kaido, assuming he wasn't already a subordinate by choice. Seems Kidd did not trust Apoo way back when they met.

That really depends on the extent to which kaido has mastered these skills. should these skills be all that unusual at the top tiers? Back at marineford we saw all 3 admirals using this to deflect whitebeard's shockwaves. And even then akainu got rag dolled by whitebeard. And luffy certainly was not dodging crap when he confronted kaido the first time and that is in spite of having a freeby when it came to punching kaido. I can see the damage against kaido being non zero from this point onward and perhaps even surviving hits from him. but winning alone should be impossible. At the very least the growth luffy has had so far seems insufficient.
